Shahid Afridi, the seasoned all-rounder for the Quetta Gladiators, tested negative for COVID-19 on Tuesday and has rejoined his squad, according to the franchise's manager Azam Khan.
Today, Afridi had a rapid antigen test (RAT) at the team's hotel, which came out negative.
He further said, "Shahid Afridi has joined the squad."
"If the test of Shahid Afridi comes back negative," Azam Khan remarked a day earlier, "he would join the squad in their match against Islamabad United scheduled to be played on February 3."
Afridi's PCR test came out negative for the second time on Sunday.
Afridi tested positive for COVID-19 on January 27, after which he isolated himself at home in accordance with the Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) COVID-19 regulations.
